[While Soundwave isn't much of a writer nor is he as creative as Monika, a day is more than enough time for him to come up with a writing of his own. And maybe... If he hears another poem of hers, he might even be hit with an inspiration.]
Ah...
[He could only let that small sound out when Monika pulls back and starts to get to her next reading. He's been denied a kiss. His head turns to Monika with his mouth agape, looking like he's about to say something, then closes it. Then, he looks away, as if to hide that he was pining for the kiss. That certainly leaves him wanting.
No no, he shouldn't be thinking like that! Surely, they'll have another moment where their lips are connected sooner rather than later... Although, it would be nice to receive a kiss now after all that tease she did.
Whatever, Monika's about to read her next poem, and so he gives her his full attention once again, ignoring the want burning in him. His head tilts curiously to the side when he notices her hand covering the poem. Why is the covering the rest of the stanzas, though. Curious, but he doesn't say much when she begins to read.
The first stanza doesn't have much of a reaction on his face. But that's typical of him. He doesn't really react much (aside from being flustered around Monika) but just because he isn't showing much reaction, that doesn't mean he isn't trying to interpret her poem, and it seems that Monika is giving him time to do so. Fine by him. It would be fun to interpret and get a deeper insight of Monika.
He's thinking, one hand cupping his chin while he wracks his own brain module. But then, he catches the glance she gives to him, nearly squeaks in surprise, and then bashfully looks away. She's covering the stanzas anyway, so no point to look down at her writing on the notebook until she uncovers them all. He can just listen to her lovely voice.
For now, based on the first stanza, Monika- that'll be who he assigned the POV. She's the writer, after all. In any case, a flower flourishing in the snow... An impossible event Monika has come across. He wonders if it's a literal flower, or if the flower supposed to represent something else impossible that Monika experienced? Perhaps the resort itself? Need more info.
Then, comes the second stanza. His head tilts to the side. This one Soundwave is a little loss on what to assign the meaning of it, aside from it being an impossible thing to have occurred. A frozen flower in the snow, yet it gives warm to the touch instead of cold as one may expected. Something about this impossibility she found and expected to hurt her, but instead gave her warmth? Acting on her carelessness and lack of self-preservation to touch things that may potentially be dangerous? Hmmmmm. Besides that, she titled the poem "Gem", yet there's no mention of gem so far. Hm....
It doesn't hit him just yet that she's talking about him. After all, he wouldn't think she would have another poem written about him, but perhaps if she uncovers more?]
