[Okay, he still won't be calling himself handsome, but it's better than cute at least!]
I understand that. This place is.... loud. Overstimulating. And I suppose the... "place" you came from was quieter than real life, I'd imagine. [Quiet is good, but being trapped in a video game is still a nightmare. He's glad she's escaped.]
I am not surprised that nobody would believe such a claim and I understand being skeptical, but it is... Unfair to label you crazy because you are honest about where you came from. If they judged you for that, then they aren't worth your time.
[Honestly, if it wasn't for his special hearings, he probably wouldn't think she's crazy but he'd be skeptical of the truth. Okay, he thinks she is crazy but for entirely different reasons. He's seen sides of her. That aside, he doesn't think she's crazy for telling the truth of her story, so she at least has one person who believes her.
He won't comment on the peck to his cheek. It's nice, of course. Monika's affectionate and he doesn't mind it like he said so long as she doesn't go overboard with it in public. Though he has the feeling he won't ever stop blushing being around her from this point onwards. His cheeks are heating up again, and her next words after the quick kiss only worsens the blush.]
I... wasn't expecting to hear that. I thought it simply a nice gesture to want to hear it, as a friend.
[Yup, as a friend. Definitely nothing more that motivates him to want that. He's definitely not imagining himself resting his head on her lap and falling asleep while she reads her works to him. Nope, that imagination would be crazy.]
I wouldn't say I want it that bad. But... if you do not mind. You have a... sweet voice, Monika, and I believe it'll enhanced your creative works if I get to hear you read them in your voice.
[Speaking of sweet voice, he considers a question in his mind. As they're leaving out of the elevator when it reached their designated floor, he decides to ask:]

Have you... Ever considered singing before?
