Mm-hmm!

[ Part of her really wanted to say more. She is happy she's met new people. If she hadn't, he'd be talking to an even worse version of herself, tending more towards violent self-destruction. But she has people that care about her. She has people she cares for. She has people that she...

Her shoulders hunch. No amount of denial can stop her heart from wanting what it wants. Some of those "friends" she's made? They were more than friends. Some of those relationships came with levels of denial rivaling what she and Soundwave shared, but there's so much more worry that comes with it now that he's returned. Will he think she moved on and forgot about him? Will he think she doesn't care anymore...?

She squeaks at the touch of his hand, jarred out of her anxiety. Her head turns back to him, blinking, then giggles a little. Some of the weight lifts off her shoulders and she straightens back up. ]

Aww, come on! My hair's already messy enough. Don't make it worse!

Monika uses their linked hands to shove him into a corner of the stairwell, then she presses her lips to his mask, just as passionately as she would with any normal kiss. Just as if he were himself, tall and imposing, the mech that'd left such a permanent mark on her. It's meant to be a fleeting thing. Nothing that'd be a repeat of their romp in the elevator. Just enough to make sure he knows he still rests deeply in her heart. ]

I missed you, Soundwave.
