( There's a thought as he watches the other settle across from him so easily that he doesn't deserve this sort of kindness from a stranger. Would this person be so willing to sit with him if he knew the blood on his hands, had seem the beast only a couple of days prior? Dimitri is certain it's a no. After all, he'd seen the wide breadth others kept from him after their reunion, how wary others would be at just the sight of him. It's strange to be in a place where people can look at him and not know who he is, what he's done.

He does his best not to linger on that, instead trying to offer another smile. This time, it looks less awkward, comes a bit more easily as he nods.

They are. ( He agrees, reaching towards the basket it to pull it closer, lifting up the lid to let the other see the contents inside. ) A picnic would be nice. I admit, I haven't eaten much since I've arrived here.

( All things considered, he knows he should eat, but between the unusualness of the situation, his grief over Rodrigue, and the time he'd spent in the maze, he hadn't taken the time to sit down and have a proper meal. He does nod again, though. )

It is. I can't remember the last time I had the chance to enjoy something like this.
