[ A smile tugs at his lips, watching the scene unfold as the exorcist hauls the misbehaving oversized hare. It's been a few months, for most not long. However, this is enough time to leave Xingqiu wondering if it truly has only been that long. Despite his initial amusement, he is all too aware of his feelings, especially the sensation of distance. Almost as if he were part of a film audience unable to ever interact with the scene. Realizing he may have observed Chongyun's work much the same in Liyue (if they had never been apart), he also knows his hesitation to approach is for an entirely different reason.

Bringing a hand over his lips, he knows traces of his smile remain just as he knows contentment fills his heart.

While he can remain still and continue to spectate, inevitably, he can't remain unnoticed. A dilemma he never imagined facing: a desired reunion that he is entirely unprepared for. Just as he imagines that Chongyun isn't prepared for this environment. Xingqiu knows what the right thing to do is, there was never another option.

Approaching as the rabbit begins its struggle for freedom to woo the young lady rabbits, while Chongyun scolds the willful hare, he can't help but a soft, wistful laugh... that's cut short when the rabbit escapes. He will not get himself crushed by an oversized rabbit, so Xingqiu does the sensible thing and moves out of the way, allowing the hare to escape, but it doesn't seem to go far. Perhaps the basket filled with vegetables (that many restaurant chefs would kill for) tempts the rabbit to remain? Naturally, there isn't a single carrot in sight. ]

There was no mention of gathering the adult rabbits, but then again, they never made it clear what they planned to do with the younger ones, did they?
