[She's going to die here, huh...

Mordred's words are still loosely hanging by her ear, a hazy but audible enough to understand so she isn't completely gone yet. She lets out another sigh, idly wondering if sleeping here forever counts as technically living in this place. Would she just stay here as another piece of decoration for the garden, asleep for the remainder of her life? Somehow the idea doesn't seem very far-fetched...

Ah, but she simply can't allow that either. She has too much to do... even if it doesn't involve this place.

Shinobu moves to lie on her back, her eyes closing in defeat... until the blond-haired woman says that. Shinobu turns her head to look at her again, taking in the casual clothes and bright blond hair once more.

... 'Sleeping beauty?'

[She... knows about that story, from books, from fables. A princess who pricked her finger on a spindle of a spinning wheel, condemned to sleep for the rest of her life... unless her true love's kiss breaks the spell.

Shinobu can't help it— she lets out a giggle, quiet and helpless. She doesn't care much for the story itself, but this situation is turning out rather ridiculous, isn't it?

Well. This place certainly has a twisted sense of humor.

[Does she really not know...?]

It's referring to a story... about a princess who pricks her finger on a spindle and is cursed to sleep forever. But then a knight appears...

... and wakes her with a kiss.

[Shinobu's smile softens as her eyes droop.]

Rather fanciful, don't you think...?

[Ahh, it's getting harder to stay awake now. There go her eyes closing again...]
