Peter is pretty amazing at making friends. It seems to almost happen by magic for him. But, really, he just assumes the best about people and treats them well. A lot of that is probably thanks to his aunt and uncle and how they raised him. They done good.

Peter hasn't been in the hotel long enough to have angered anyone - as far as he's aware - to the point that he's hit any punishments. That, and he's apparently managed to have enough sex to stay off the radar. It may also have something to do with him having not been assigned a suit or rank yet either.

A warmth rolls through his chest at Loki's praise - and he still wishes he knew why that happens. (He really should have figured it out already, but maybe someone needs to spell it out more directly for him.) It makes him try even harder to keep his eyes open. And it even works until Loki's tricky fingers all get going at the same time. Then Peter's feet press hard into the floor and he let's out a half-muffled groan. As he slowly exhales, his eyes fall closed, a little tighter this time. There was no way they were staying open through all of that.
