Peter is the type who, even if the first impression wasn't great, he'd give someone room to grow and change. Hell, he'll even help. While he was in Duplicity, he'd tried with Beck - working to convince him that his current methods weren't going to get him what he wanted. However, Beck never seemed to catch on. Didn't mean Peter was going to stop trying.

Loki is extended the same courtesy. Peter wants to like everyone.

He follows that hand down his chest with his eyes, liking the feel of skin on skin. All of his senses are elevated - including touch - which makes situations like this more intense. And interesting.

His concern with the eye contact is less actually doing it and more keeping his eyes open the whole time. He tends to close his eyes and settle in to just feel.

Slowly, his tongue passes over his lips as he listens. Eyes dipping again to watch Loki's hand. He starts to nod, but asks, "Is the touching thing just because or do you not like being touched?" If it's the latter, Peter will be far more conscientious throughout. "But, yeah, those are fine." He already gave a bit of indication he isn't likely to maintain the eye contact through the whole thing, but he will try.
