Peter would definitely get a 'white hat' label. And he can only imagine the Avenger-level thrashing Loki would receive if any of the Avengers (or his Aunt May) caught Loki doing what he's doing now - no matter how much Peter insisted it was half his idea. They wouldn't believe him and they'd likely think it was some sort of Loki mind-influence.
Because they don't know where Peter's been for the last two years.
Should Loki indicate that he has a desire, at all, for wanting to dominate Peter, he's very likely to go along with it. He knows he can get out of most situations. So, if Loki doesn't try to hurt him (in a bad way), they'd get along just fine.
Part of it is Peter's people pleasing personality trait. He wants to do things right. If his mouth wasn't stuffed full, he'd moan, long and loud, at the grip to his hair. At the control of his head. His focus is there and on how close he is himself and not on the hints and clues that would tell him Loki is seconds away. It catches him a little off guard and he coughs and splutters even as he's trying to swallow.
