It may not be so easy to ignore. Not when everyone else is taking this stuff so seriously. It's sort of like they've walked into a foreign culture where neither one of them knows the customs, or a secret society governed by arcane rules.

After finishing the message, he concludes it's probably the last one. What else are they meant to believe? The wish-granting thing only makes sense if whoever's running this place is God himself. And there's no way that's the case.
He glances at Jun again. It's heartening to hear him confirm again that he won't participate, and that he can't even understand why anyone else would want to. There's no such thing as a human who's really "pure," since everyone gets stained by the world around them. But Jun-kun, he figures, must be one of the closest things. He's someone who's managed to keep a good heart in spite of everything.
His chest aches at the thought of that innocence being lost.
He goes quiet for another moment before he replies, more subdued:]
I wouldn't want that, either. That sort of thing seems like it'd leave you with an empty feeling afterwards.
["Seems," he says. Like he hasn't been there himself.
But that's exactly the problem, isn't it? He doesn't want Jun to turn into the kind of person he used to be. Someone who sees relationships as "fake" transactions and tools to kill time. Jun is better than that, and he deserves better from others. So.
