[ The drama is part of the fun. Seimei is an expert in losing after so many centuries, and if he's going to do it, he wants to make the scene look good. Maybe the sorcerer will take out some of his frustration with the place and make it all more believable. He has to throw everything in if he wants to succeed in the end, right? Sacrifices must be made for victory.

What Seimei isn't expecting is the simple, single bop on the head. It's firm, but far from the punch or slap he was expecting the human to take to escape the elevator trap. Even if Seimei wasn't the cause for their situation, it's not like this man owes him any decency to help himself get out.

The fox stares up at him, as bemused as the painting above them is angry. John is ranting about cheating now, and Seimei, still kneeling, looks up in confused amusement at Nanami. ]


Why would you do that? [ Humans really are the most baffling of all creatures. ]
