"Fair. It sounds not unlike some areas of Earth civilization, even if it's not quite as explicitly stated." Peter is as optimistic as they come, but he's not blind to how the world actually works. He does want the world to be different, but it's a slow road to make those kinds of changes. Plus, at the moment, he's not there.
Peter nods at the question. "Sometimes, yeah." All of the time, technically, but only on display when he puts on the suit and swings around. "I may not have mentioned it." He doesn't remember either, honestly. He spent a lot of time wandering those stupid hallways. Peter is not particularly familiar with Loki, since Loki had been killed (or 'killed') while Peter was busy helping Iron Man battle Ebony Maw and save Dr. Strange. At most, he knows some of the mythological or folkloric Norse history about Thor and his family. Maybe a story here and there from some of the other Avengers. Not that it would particularly matter - everyone gets their fair shake with Peter.
Peter can step into either role, but one is more mentally taxing for him than the other. For a brief moment, Peter thinks he should be wary of Loki being quite so delighted about the question. But, truthfully, he doesn't really care - he figures it's unlikely the guy can really hurt him. Needless to say, he doesn't resist as he's nudged along heading for one of the tables. In fact, he might almost appear enthusiastic. Almost anticipating what comes next, though trying not to get ahead of himself.
