Alhaitham. [He gives her hand a brief glance and for a moment it seems like he won't take it, then he clasps it in a firm grip and gives it a small, curt shake before letting go just as quickly. With no intention of waiting around here he's in much the same mind as her - not in a rush to get anywhere, but he's not just going to sit here and see how long it takes for the painting to get bored.]

I've grown unfortunately accustomed to these circumstances, as much as I try to avoid them.
