"Tifa." Aerith's brows furrow as she looks over at her, her mouth twitching into a concerned twist. "I wasn't about to let you face Corneo on your own. I grew up in Sector Five, I knew what happens to those girls. Trust me." Reaching out, she touches Tifa's arm, a soft smile on her face that's not just reassuring. There's a hundred different emotions there, nostalgia and bittersweetness at the front, but something knowing.
"I've seen you punch holes in Shinra weapons, I know you can take care of yourself. But that doesn't mean you have to do it alone, you know? It's okay to look out for each other, that's why we're a team." Then her expression turns mischeivous as she grins. "Besides, I don't think I've had nearly as much fun as I did when we knocked those guys out together."
At least not until they'd spent time together at the Saucer, but Aerith isn't sure if she should mention that, something holding her back. Instead, she playfully bumps against Tifa, letting her head rest on her shoulder for just a moment.
"We'll make some good memories together to make up for it, I promise."
